History
 Two
Generations of Owners Barbara Carr Woodall, and Scott
Carr currently operate Bonded Logistics. Jim and
Robin Carr created Bonded Distribution which eventually became
Bonded Logistics in 2003.
From Bonded Distribution to Bonded
Logistics
From an initial 30,000 square foot facility opened in 1972,
Bonded Logistics, Inc. – formerly Bonded Distribution, Inc. –
Has Grown to Approximately one million SF of public, contract, and leased
space in nine different locations, employing 160 employees.
Ideally located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Bonded
provides third party logistics and management services,
specializing in high volume, LTL business. Our accounts are
further supported by offering an expanded list of value-added
services including contract packaging, fulfillment, and full
freight brokerage.
Our management team has over 150 years
combined experience---enough experience to spot trends and
patterns and the ability and background to create the right
solutions.
Known in the industry and the community for
its outstanding customer service, Bonded is committed to staying
on the edge of technology so our customers are able to access
information on their product quickly and efficiently.
Nothing's Changed But the Name
Although we did decide to change our name from Bonded
Distribution to Bonded Logistics, efficient warehousing,
superior customer service, and integrity throughout the company
still remain as core values for Bonded Logistics.
We will continue to look for better ways to
handle, distribute and control your inventory and economically
transport your product. The latest technological advances in our
industry will still be one of our top priorities allowing you
quick access to product information. Communication with our
customers is vital. These were a hallmark of Bonded Distribution
and will continue to be for Bonded Logistics.
