Inventory Supervisor (5224)
Location: 5224 Gibbon Road, Charlotte
Overview
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing the availability, flow, storage, and accuracy of the company’s products and materials by overseeing inventory staff, maintaining accurate records, analyzing data and developing efficient procedures in our largest facility (5224). He/she is also responsible for: conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, optimizing storage, and implementing strategies to maintain optimal stock levels that meet operational and customer needs.

- Supervise and coordinate daily inventory activities including: cycle counts, audits, adjustments and reconciliation.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy above company standards.
- Supervise, train and develop inventory control staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, customer service and the IT team to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including quantity, quality and value, using computerized systems.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports, provide insight and recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage and tracking of inventory using Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Support new client on boarding and inventory set-ups as needed.
- Organize and perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts, analyze discrepancies to find and resolve root causes.
- Uphold safety standards and promote a clean work environment.
- Participate in internal and external audits and support compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Prior experience using a scanner/scan gun and familiar with a Warehouse Management system or WMS. (Cadence and/or SAP preferred but are not required)
- Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted
- Work overtime as assigned
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and basic math
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness for tracking inventory and record-keeping.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff, customers and management.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to manage inventory and staff efficiently.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and procedures.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and computerized systems
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles for reporting stock levels.

Pay: From $55,000/year
Expected hours: 40 per week
