Bonded Logistics Workers Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccination

Bonded Logistics Workers Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccination

Our President and Owner, Scott Carr, shared the following information with our employees in regards to the announcement this week from the NC Governor on additional frontline essential workers becoming eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination.

Governor Roy Cooper and North Carolina Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) Secretary Mandy Cohen announced that additional frontline essential workers in Group 3 have become eligible for the COVID-19 vaccinations beginning yesterday, March 3, 2021.  This is a week ahead of schedule, and great news for Bonded Logistics.

We have been operating as a designated essential services provider throughout the coronavirus pandemic.  This announcement means anyone working at facilities across our network now have the ability to schedule an appointment to get your COVID-19 vaccination.  There are several ways to do this, outlined below.  We have not heard if you need any documentation for proof of work, but do we have our BLI essential worker travel authorization form available (your FM will have this if you don’t).

In order to not have a major disruption in the workflow of our business, we do ask that you please let your Supervisor or Manager know when you plan to get the COVID-19 vaccination.  This will give them the ability to make any adjustments necessary to maintain normal operations.

Also, even with vaccinations beginning to take place within our network, we will continue to follow our COVID-19 protocols for the safety of all employees.  This includes temperature screening upon entrance into facilities, wearing a mask, staying six feet apart, and washing your hands as often as possible.
