Overview
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and improving logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure optimal performance. This role involves working closely with various departments to design, implement, and monitor process improvements.

  • Analyze current logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate workflow and productivity.
  • Design and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in industrial engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certification in industrial engineering or related field.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in logistics and supply chain management.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in a 3PL or logistics environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000/year

Expected hours: 40 per week
