Production Manager (5224)
Location: 5224 Gibbon Road, Charlotte
Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Production Manager with a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring efficient production operations. The position will be assigned to our 5224 Gibbon Road facility. As a critical part of our manufacturing component of the business, this role will troubleshoot production issues and oversee the maintenance of production equipment. He/she will also analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and ensure that production deadlines are met.

- Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Oversee improvements to the production workflows
- Conduct root cause analysis for production-related problems and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with production team to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and take quality control measures to ensure that product specifications are met.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to manage the supply chain and ensure timely production.
- Maintain documentation for production processes, standard operating procedures and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Inventory and Production planning groups to ensure all batch records, work orders and allocated materials are available to the production teams ahead of runs.
- Coordinate maintenance and production groups to ensure maximum production line up-time.
- Direct production efforts to complete work orders from the production schedule.
- Assist the line lead in reconciling all materials after the completion of a job.
- Assist the quality representative and quality manager in completing all batch records, resolving issues and completing investigations.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing including processes, production systems and quality control.
- Proficiency in process optimization.
- Experience with basic electronic/mechanical troubleshooting including: sensors and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient production processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Experience in white pouch, snus, or tobacco industries (desired)
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field.
- Three (3) years of experience as a production engineer or equivalent.

Pay: Salary will be commensurate with experience
