Charlotte, North Carolina (PRWEB) May 18, 2015 – Bonded Logistics, a premier third party logistics provider, announced today that they have hired Jeffrey Jaeger as Vice President of Operations to its corporate office in Charlotte, N.C.
Jeff brings over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and logistics to Bonded. He will replace Earl Hedgepeth, who is retiring from the position after 32 years of service. Jeff will be responsible for overseeing logistical operations for all ten Bonded Logistics properties. He has an outstanding long-term career in operations, distribution and logistics.
Previously, Jeff was Vice President of Logistics for Dean Foods, where he was responsible for oversight of international operations to the Middle East, South Pacific, Europe, private fleet, shops, third party warehouses, and numerous branch operations. Prior to that, as Regional Logistics Director for Dean, he was responsible for multi-state operations in the upper Midwest region while managing 40 independent distributors and negotiating 3PL and 4PL contracts. Early in his career, Jeff served as Operations Manager for Dean and was instrumental in leading employee retention strategies, network redistribution, and re-negotiating rates that garnered him Distribution Manager of the Year honors.
A decorated Combat Veteran and US Marine Corps Officer, Jeff has earned numerous medals and commendations for service excellence and job performance in unit command and combat operations through 7 years active duty with the United States Marine Corps. Jeff’s many accomplishments qualify him as a top choice in filling such a big role with Bonded. “Jeff brings a wealth of logistics experience to Bonded and will lead our operations team to continue providing a high level of customer service,” states Dave Jesse, Chief Operating Officer for Bonded Logistics. “We are very excited to have this talented leader on board.”
